Bella found this dress at her local Goodwill store for $25.  It has a great ruched skirt.  Can't wait to see Bella wear this to a SP formal.

Steamy Finds: Renaissance Fashions

Here are pictures of more "steamy" items we found while at the Ohio Renaissance Festival.  These are from Renaissance Fashions.  The Ren Fest is still going on.  So, you still have time to find some "steamy" items of your own.

The pictures don't do these items justice.  The skirt has several layers and great detailing.  The corset is an incredible teal blue with black.  This is a "sweetheart" style of corset.  Very flattering!

In this picture, Prissy and Bella are wearing items purchased from Fiona's Fineries.  Prissy is wearing the beautiful gold/copper colored Irish dress.  Bella is wearing the exquisite silver and black corset.  Be sure to check them out!

Ohio Renaissance Festival

The Ohio Renaissance Festival started September 3rd.  Ren Faires are great places for all of us Steampunkers to show off our costumes! 

Steampunkers at the Michigan Renaissance Festival

Bella, Prissy and Cyrus went to the opening weekend of the Festival.  The theme was Buccaneer Beer Brawl.   Thus, we mostly saw pirates!  Lots of pirates!  But, here are pics of a couple SPers.

The Silk Road

Bella bought this beautiful red burnout silk skirt at the Michigan Renaissance Festival.  You can get one too at The Silk Road.  They have lots of great items.  The picture doesn't do this beautiful skirt justice.  It is absolutely gorgeous!

Leather Lore is another great vendor from the Michigan Renaissance Festival. 

Check out these bracers and belts.  Lots of colors and patterns to choose from.

 All criminals and evil-doers had better watch out for Bella now!  She is armed and dangerous!

Michigan Renaissance Festival

The Michigan Renaissance Festival starts this weekend.  Bella, Prissy & Cyrus are headed there.  They will keep an eye out for any cool SP items to share with you! 

The Gilded Lily

Here's a pic of a hat created by the wonderful people at The Gilded Lily.  The Faire is over, but look for them on facebook!  The quality and creativity of their pieces is incredible.

Time Travel to the Great Lakes Medieval Faire

Here are a few pics from the 1st weekend of the Great Lakes Medieval Faire in Geneva, Ohio.  The theme for the weekend was "Alter Ego Time Travel Experience".
