Here's a look at the finished product.  The sword frog was purchased from Griffin Works Leather.  You might also recognize the octopus fascinator (think the Royal Wedding) from a previous post.

World Steam Expo 2012

We are back!  We had a great time at the World Steam Expo.  Pics will be forthcoming.  In the meantime, here is a picture of Steampunk Bunny at the beginning of his adventure!

World Steam Expo Wrist Bracer

This started as a pair of PeeWee soccer shin guards.  They have been taped with blue painters tape and primed with Krylon Fusion spray paint.  Here's a hint from Cyrus.....leave the painters tape on until after you have finished dry brushing, so as not to get paint on the outer edges.

The painter's tape is still around the edge.  Bella might have a few finishing touches to add.

Steampunk Fantasy Pirate for the Steampunk World Expo

Prissy and Bella are working on costumes for the World Expo.  Here are a couple pictures! 

The toy octopus has been painted with silver Rub n Buf.   Finally, here is a teaser picture of the finished product.  What do you think it is?
