Small Studio

Thanks to our good friend at Life on the Lamb we were introduced to a wonderful new store.  The Small Studio is a fabulous place you can not resist!

Cyrus Vance has found another steamy treasure--a Kodak Junior (1926-1932).  Bella found one too.

The newly opened store sells a wonderful selection of affordable treasures--everything from silk ribbon to vintage goods.

The "Small Studio" hosts altered art workshops using a variety of mix mediums and are taught by guest artists. The workshop schedule includes several Steampunk inspired crafts and jewelry. Check out the upcoming workshop to create Steampunk bobby pins!

Gauge in Process

Here's a picture of the gauge after it was painted with Krylon Fusion flat black spray paint.  This will serve as the base layer.  Dry brushing with acrylic craft paint will give it the "aged" looked.

UtopiaCon 2012

UtopiaCon is an eclectic convention that caters to Faerie, Gothic, Pirate, Medieval, Renaissance, Steampunk, Gaming, Tribal, and all Friends and Fea of Olde. The Jubilee is on Saturday evening where everyone can gather together in music, dance and performances.
