Making Bracers by Bella Gunne

Here are a few pics of a pair of bracers I made.  This is only my first attempt at this type of costume accessory.  These are a very simple pattern.

I traced my pattern onto paper and then used it as a template to cut the naugahyde.  The snaps are sewn on.  {Next time I will use grommets and leather cording.}  See, simple.  I still need to add more embellishments to finish them off.

Badge Holders by Prissy

When we went to Ohaycon in January, we had a hard time trying to decide what to do with our badges.  We mostly ended up tying them onto our costumes with the lanyard that was given.  For the World's Fair, we decided to be a little more creative and tried to make badge holders that would match our costumes and incorporate the SP theme.

Victorian Hat by Bella Gunne

Here are pictures of a hat I created this past weekend.  It will go with an outfit I'm working on for the Steampunk World's Fair.  The WF is fast approaching.  Only 15 days away!  Prissy, Cyrus and I are getting very excited!

You will have to check back after the World's Fair to see the finished costume!

Pistols

Prissy and Bella made some tiny guns, Steampunk style, for the upcoming Steampunk World's Fair.  These in particular are for the "Speakeasy in the Sky" event.  Something tiny and tasteful to go along with the glitz & glamour of the event.

The penny gives you a sizing scale.
